Angelica

Biography

Latin pop diva Angelica was created in LA, the merchandise of a family group of musicians including uncle Eusebio Garcia, the director of Mexico’s Mariachi Toluca. After earning “Greatest New Musician” honors within the Mexican nationwide talent competition Juguemos a Cantar, Angelica started a two-year stint for the Spanish-language range plan La Hora Feliz; her first strike was the 1992 English-language solo “Angel Baby,” but she came back to her Latin root base with her self-titled 1997 LP, credit scoring popular with “Vaya.”
