Students of Sheri Greenwald, soprano Angela Cadelago produced her debut as Adele in Die Fledermaus using the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Lyric Opera in 1999. She researched at SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA State College or university, where she received a complete scholarship. The SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Chronicle defined her as “virtuosic,” and SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Classical Voice composed that her shows are “regularly great…the soprano also offers that ineffable quality that separates great from something better; she certainly has ‘it’….easy, shiny, spot-on singing.” She’s performed using the Berkeley Opera Firm simply because the four heroines in Les contes d’Hoffmann so that as Adina in L’elisir d’amore. With Pacific Repertory Opera she’s made an appearance in Le nozze di Figaro as Susanna, with Sonoma Town Opera as Norina in Don Pasquale, and with Golden Western world Opera as Mimí in La bohème. Her concert repertoire contains Messiah, Elijah, Knoxville: Summer months of 1915, Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, Mozart’s Requiem, and J.S. Bach’s Magnificat. She was a Metropolitan Opera Regional finalist and provides appeared being a recitalist on the Spoleto Celebration (Italy) as well as the Carmel Bach Celebration.
