Hailing from Dortmund, Germany, rock quintet Angel Dirt originally began existence within the ’80s like a thrash clothing. They documented two albums, 1988’s In to the Dark Recent and 1989’s To Dirt YOU MAY Decay, before disbanding because of personality conflicts. Nevertheless, the band’s tempo section — drummer Dirk Assmuth and bassist Frank Banx — spearheaded an improbable return in 1998, recruiting fresh vocalist Dirk Thurisch, guitarist Bernd Aufermann, and keyboardist Steven Banx. Wearing an identical but somewhat retooled audio that drew from English power metallic, the reconstituted Angel Dirt toured and authorized to Century Press, which released the Europe-only Boundary of Fact (also in 1998). Bleed, the group’s 1st album to become released and distributed within the U.S., made an appearance the following 12 months, as well as the group came back again in the summertime of 2000 with Enlighten the Darkness. Boundary of Reality made an appearance the following springtime.
