Biography
Manchester-based Andy Votel wears many hats, included in this record label owner and producer. In his teenage years, Votel obtained experience by going out in North hip-hop night clubs and playing warm-up DJ at Manchester pubs and night clubs. Into his twenties, his crafted soundscapes got him remix and creation projects with Loss of life in Vegas, Lamb, and Terribly Drawn Son (Damon Gough). Alongside Gough, Votel founded Twisted Nerve Information. Although two are both makers in their personal right, it really is Gough’s 1st released function that brought the label interest in past due 2000. Votel’s 1st album, Varieties of the Unpredicted, was a 40-minute mini-album affected by surf, digital, hip-hop, and cinematic styles. The album premiered in early 2001 on Votel and Gough’s label. Twelve months later arrived the follow-up, All Ten Fingertips, but Votel gained much more see for some eccentric, themed blend albums, including 2003’s Music to view Ladies Cry, 2005’s Tunes in the main element of Loss of life, and 2008’s Brazilika.
