Andy Paley

Biography

Manufacturer Andy Paley lent his basic pop sensibility to albums from legends including Brian Wilson, Jerry Lee Lewis and Jonathan Richman. He initial surfaced because the frontman from the Sidewinders, producing his debut on the 1972 self-titled work; over time of comparative inactivity, Paley resurfaced in 1976, showing up on Elliott Murphy’s Evening Lighting LP. He following teamed with sibling Jonathan because the Paley Brothers, issuing an acclaimed 1978 eponymous record; that same season, he also made an appearance using the group Beatles Costello on the sole EP, Cleaning the Defectives. In 1979, Paley performed electric guitar on Richman’s Back Your Life, starting a cooperation which continued on / off for a long time to come. Noiseless throughout a lot of the 1980s, in 1988 he created the renowned Brian Wilson’s return solo work; Paley teamed using the onetime Seaside Boy to record another LP through the mid-1990s, however the completed product-though apparently Wilson’s best function because the halcyon Family pet Sounds era-remains up to now unreleased. Still, the cooperation brought Paley brand-new visibility, and promptly he collaborated with John Wesley Harding, NRBQ, the Mighty Lemon Drops and, most curiously, Madonna. In 1995, he also teamed with another notoriously tempermental musician, Jerry Lee Lewis, for Little Blood.
