Andy McGann

New York-based fiddler Andy McGann attracted worldwide attention along with his recording debut in November of 1965. A cooperation with key accordionist Joe Burke and pianist Felix Dolan, A Tribute to Michael Coleman famous the music from the important Sligo fiddler (1891-1945) and became among the all-time best-selling albums of traditional Irish music. McGann provides continued to create his presence sensed. Furthermore to releasing an extraordinary solo record, Irish Fiddle and Electric guitar, in 1992, he’s documented duo albums with Paul Brady (Traditional Music of Ireland) and Paddy Reynolds (Fiddle Duets and it’s really a Hard Street to visit).
