Andromeda

Andromeda was a psychedelic/progressive rock and roll trio formed by singer-guitarist John Cann (also called John Du Cann), formerly from the psychedelic garage area band the Assault, Mick Hawksworth (bass, vocals), and Ian McClane (drums, vocals). The group performed in a variety of London locations including Middle Globe as well as the Marquee Golf club. Cann’s acoustic guitar was the dominating device, leading listeners through classically centered psychedelic and intensifying directions and innovative dissonances, adding to the trio’s amazing live models. Andromeda combined their very own unique writing with components appropriated from familiar classical materials. They were authorized to RCA in 1969 but before that they’d made an appearance go on the BBC’s Best Gear system in 1968, and in the 1990s, additional live recordings using their shows at Middle Globe have surfaced aswell. The group’s 1st single, “Proceed THE RIGHT PATH,” premiered in 1969 along with a self-titled recording (which presented some amazing vocals) adopted quickly.
