Andrey Boreyko

Russian conductor Andrey Boreyko attended the St. Petersburg Condition Conservatory, where he researched performing with Elisabeta Kudriavtseva and Alexander Dmitriev. He earned awards on the 1987 Grzegorz Fitelberg International Competition for Conductors as well as the 1989 Kirill Kondrashin International Performing Competition. Between 1998 and 2003, Boreyko was the music movie director from the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, and between 2004 and 2007, he was the main conductor from the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra. He also kept positions using the Bern Symphony Orchestra, the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, the Country wide Orchestra of Belgium, the SWR Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Basque Country wide Orchestra.
