Led by vocalist Andrew Cheairs, a reverend in the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Chapel in Byhalia, MS, Reverend Andrew Cheairs & the Songbirds make use of music as a car for expressing their deep spiritual convictions. Shaped in the first ’70s, the group is constantly on the feature Cheairs’ sibling, two sisters, along with a cousin. The quartet regularly performs with gospel quartet the Canton Spirituals.
