Andrés Orozco-Estrada

Andrés Orozco-Estrada is a Colombian conductor and violinist. In early stages, he required violin lessons in the Instituto Musical Diego Echevarria, but he started to research performing in 1992. He pursued his research in Vienna, in the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst. His profession has been worldwide in range, for he offers conducted such main orchestras as the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Leipzig Gewandhaus, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the town of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Houston Symphony Orchestra, the Santa Cecilia Orchestra Rome, as well as the Orchestre Country wide de France. His association using the Tonkünstler Orchester Niederösterreich started in 2004, when he carried out like a last-minute alternative in the Vienna Festwochen, which resulted in a two-year task as associate conductor. In ’09 2009, he became primary conductor from the Tonkünstler Orchester. He in addition has served as primary conductor from the Basque Country wide Orchestra, so that as music movie director from the Houston Symphony.
