Andre’s All-Star

A mid-’50s quintet that produced one Verve saving in Miami. The staff included tenor saxophonist and flutist Gus Maas, pianist Bebo Nacre, bassist Kiki Hernandez, drummer Expenses Britto and Roland Alfonso on congas. These were a low-key, pleasurable unit, as well as the music was very well performed, if forgettable.
