Andrea Maxand

Raised within the burgeoning alternative music mecca which was Seattle, this diminutive singer/songwriter began young making music, you start with the piano and shifting to your guitar. In 1997, surviving in a university city north of Seattle, Andrea Maxand created her first group, the Nutrients. The group performed around the region while Maxand continuing to write tunes. It was right here that the foundation for her smart and sly composing style evolved. However the music group eventually divided, and Maxand started writing new materials. In 2000 and early 2001, Maxand documented material on her behalf debut recording. With the help of Chris Walla from your group Loss of life Cab for Cutie, Maxand released her debut recording, Angel Head wear, on Montesano Information. The recording received much compliment and drew evaluations to Kitty Power. In 2002, Maxand came back to the studio room to record and to push out a follow-up EP.
