André Bratten

Oslo-born digital artist André Bratten creates cosmic disco with analog tools much like Norwegian peers Lindstrøm, Todd Terje, and Prins Thomas, but with an increase of of the German minimal techno influence. Bratten’s function came to the interest of Prins Thomas, who released full-length debut Be considered a Guy You Ant on his Total Pupp label in 2013. Bratten obtained DJ encounter at Panorama Pub and Fabric, and Erol Alkan included Bratten’s monitor “Trommer Og Bass” on his blend Compact disc Fabriclive 77. Bratten finished a remix for Holy Ghost! in 2014, and remixed Röyksopp the next year. Mathematics Ilium Ion, a somewhat darker EP with a far more streamlined golf club sound, made an appearance on Smalltown Supersound in-may of 2015. Half a year later on, Bratten released his second full-length, Gode, which relocated much further from golf club noises and disco affects, leading to an recording of dark, personal experimental techno and downtempo.
