And the Moneynotes

As well as the Moneynotes originally started as Dr. Horsemachine as well as the Moneynotes in Scranton, PA, in 2006. Following the self-described “vaudevillian nation bluegrass pop” group finished its initial EP, THIS SEASON We Hunt, in 2007, bassist Austin Smith came back to his indigenous Texas. All of those other group — Mike Williams (electric guitar, vocals), Roy Williams (piano, vocals), Coleman Smith (fiddle), Jeff “Setty” Hopkins (drums), and Brian Craig (washboard, mandolin) — brought Mike Quinn (electric guitar, vocals) and Pat Finnerty (bass, vocals) aboard to consider Smith’s place; the ensuing modification in musical path prompted the group to shorten its name to As well as the Moneynotes.
