Analogue II

Even though name Analogue II wasn’t unveiled before early 2000s, this avant-garde rock/progressive rock-band from NEW YORK actually dates back towards the ‘90s. Analogue II (whose immediate or indirect affects range between Tortoise and Slint to Ruler Crimson and Frank Zappa & the Moms of Invention) is actually Analogue with a fresh name and some personnel changes; actually, three of individuals who were within the 1st Analogue–David Heller, Jennifer Greer, and Matthew J. Westlake–went to become people of Analogue II. Going for a bizarre, tripped-out, eccentric method of avant-garde rock, intensifying rock and roll and psychedelic rock and roll, the very first Analogue arrived of NEW YORK in the middle-‘90s. Analogue’s unique lineup included Greer (electrical keyboards, synthesizers, electrical bass, glockenspiel) and Westlake (guitar, vocals) in addition to David Cantwell (drums) and Christopher Karlof (electrical bass, guitar); Heller (guitar, electrical bass) became a member of Analogue a couple of years later on. In 1995, Analogue produced its documenting debut with an individual titled “Typical Luck Appeal,” that was released within the Sonic Bubblegum label). In 1996, Analogue offered its 1st album, AAD/AAA, that was also released on Sonic Bubblegum and was accompanied by Rock and roll Proper in 1997. After that, in the first 2000s, Analogue became Analogue II. Cantwell and Karlof still left the music group, and the brand new associates had been drummer Heath Offer along with a vocalist who goes on the Torch Marauder (although a lot of Analogue II’s function is instrumental). With this new Greer/Westlake/Heller/Offer/Torch Marauder lineup set up, Analogue II documented Oh Perfect Experts for Rubric Information (a subsidiary of Knitting Stock Records/Knit Mass media) in early 2002. Oh Ideal Masters premiered in August 2002.
