An Emotional Fish

Since they result from Dublin, are righteously political and their initial two singles were on U2’s Mother record label, An Emotional Fish is generally written off being a blatant U2 imitator, and there is absolutely no denying they owe a big debt to people Irish superstars. While their music gets the same droning electric guitar of U2, you can find more Celtic details than U2 at an identical stage, alongside straighter pop hooks. However, they were associated with an awful scandal within the U.K. regarding Radio 1. From then on, their debut record was massacred with the critics as well as the music group essentially vanished, launching information like 1993’s Rubbish Puppets and 1996’s Sloper to small notice.
