An Acoustic Sin was shaped by guitarist songwriter Ronnie LeBlanc in 1991. He recruited Richard Bourgeois to try out bass in 1995. Then they added Daniel Dupuis as their drummer the next year. The final hyperlink in the group was business lead guitarist Stephen LeBlanc.
