Amyth

Amyth (pronounced “a misconception”) is really a vocal quartet comprising two sets of close friends, Wayne Spears and Otis “Labo” Jupiter from Baton Rouge, LA, and Jelani Phillips and Stephen Joyce from St. Louis, MO. Spears and Jupiter fulfilled while participating in Southern School and made a decision to form an organization. Jupiter earned Phillips, plus they performed being a trio for approximately nine months. If they decided to broaden to some quartet, Phillips earned his youth friend Joyce. They transferred to NY and began producing demos. Their attorney also acquired LL Great J as a customer, and he noticed their tape. He was in discussions with Warner Bros. for the production deal regarding his very own imprint, Rock and roll The Bells (RTB), and agreed upon Amyth as his first action. Their debut one, “1, 2, 3,” premiered in the summertime of 1999 and produced the R&B graphs. It was implemented in Sept by their debut record, The World Is normally Ours.
