When she isn’t growing the gospel to various LA churches, vocalist Ami Rushes is writing the term in song. She’s made an appearance on BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel and it is a regular on the annual Gospel Music Workshop of America convention. Her debut record, Covering, found its way to 2006, with thirty percent of its proceeds likely to the Save Africa’s Kids charity supporting initiatives to get rid of the HIV/Helps turmoil in Africa.
