Amestigon

Austrian black metallic music group Amestigon was shaped by one-time Abigor singer/drummer Rune — now calling himself Tharen — and bassist/guitarist Thurisaz. Staunch defenders from the so-called “historic method” of dark metallic popularized by famous brands Burzum and Darkthrone, Amestigon ideals natural guitars, furious rhythms, screamed vocals, ambient key pad passages, and periodic folk music affects over the even more gothic, orchestrated, and clean-singing refinements launched in to the genre lately. After producing their debut in 1996 with a divide EP with fellow countrymen Angizia, the group was silent for the spell before resurfacing in the entire year 2000 using the Remembering Ancient Roots mini-CD and brand-new associates Lanz (electric guitar/bass), Herr Wolf (electric guitar), and Silenius (vocals).
