American Minor

Originally from rural Charleston, WV, the people in American Minor relocated to the faculty town of Champaign, IL, about 2002. The youthful quintet made an instant impression locally using its mixture of stinging hard rock and roll, old Faces information, and tones of blues and Southern rock and roll, and shortly a hype was afoot. Ultimately Rob McCutcheon (vocals), Bud Carroll (electric guitar), Bruno (bass), Josh Knox (drums), and Josh Gragg (electric guitar) installed with David Lowery, who helped them record a demonstration. South by Southwest implemented in 2004, and American Small caught the hearing of ex-Blind Melon associates Christopher Thorn and Brad Smith, who brought the music group to Jive Information. American Minor agreed upon, and released the Buffalo Creek EP through Jive in Oct 2004. Their self-titled full-length implemented in August 2005.
