Ambrosian Singers


The Ambrosian Performers are among the best-known London choral groups, particularly esteemed because of their wide selection of recorded repertory. The group’s founding was linked to the origins from the post-World Battle II early music motion in England. Among its co-founders was Denis Stevens (b. 1922), a United kingdom musicologist and viola participant who joined up with the BBC Music Section in 1949 and established applications of Renaissance and early Baroque music.
