LA quartet Ambrosia, whose founding users included guitarist/vocalist David Pack, bassist/vocalist Joe Puerta, keyboardist Christopher North, and drummer Burleigh Drummond, fused symphonic artwork rock having a slickly produced pop audio. The group was found out in 1971 by LA Philharmonic conductor Zubin Mehta, who presented Ambrosia within a so-called All-American Desire Concert.
