Amazorblades

The Brighton-based Amazorblades traced their roots back again to a 1972 meeting between vocalist Rob Keyloch and guitarist Ben Mandelson, though it was 1976 prior to the music group — completed by bassist Ray Cooper and sax player Robin Watson — played its first gig, on the Alhambra club. With drummer Steve Harris changing a youthful, now-forgotten percussionist, the music group gigged over summer and winter and, in past due summer, signed using the Chiswick label. Their debut one, “Common Truth” implemented in Oct, but by the finish of the entire year, the music group had split up. Mandelson afterwards resurfaced alongside Jah Wobble; Cooper within the Oyster Band.
