Amanda Jenssen is a Swedish pop vocalist who rose to popularity on the tv screen reality present Idol 2007 and made her chart-topping record debut in 2008 with Getting rid of My Darlings. Delivered Jenny Amanda Katarina Bengtsson on Sept 12, 1988, in Lund, Sweden, she started her professional music profession as the business lead singer from the music group Oh Hollie Neverdays with guitarist Viktor Rinneby. The music group wrote its songs and skilled some modest achievement. Yet, Jenssen auditioned for the 4th period of Idol and produced her debut appearance on the present on Sept 3, 2007. She was a enthusiast favorite that period, completing as the second-place runner-up behind champion Marie Picasso within a dramatic finale where she dropped by just two percent from the vote. In the aftermath of her second-place surface finish on Idol 2007, Jenssen agreed upon a recording agreement using the Epic Information department of Sony Music and released her industrial debut one, “Do YOU LIKE Me,” in January 2008. Primarily created in cooperation with Pär Wiksten, the record spawned the follow-up strike singles “Amarula Tree,” “For sunlight,” and “Greetings from Space.” There is also a one-off vacation single, “Another Xmas.” The next season Jenssen released her second record, Happyland (2009), which once more was created in cooperation with Wiksten. The name track premiered as the lead one and was a high Five strike, as was the record itself.
