Amadou Toure

Using the fatal coronary attack of Amadou Toure, in 1983, Senegal lost among its most influential music artists. As the first choice of Toure Kunde, a ten-piece music group that included his brothers Ismael and Sixu, Toure experienced helped to create the original music of Senegal up to modern requirements. Although they in the beginning performed traditional African devices, like the kora, balafon, and sabar, Toure Kunde progressively modernized their audio with guitars and synthesizers. Pursuing his brothers Ismael and Sixu to Paris in 1979, Toure aimed the group because they developed a thrilling mbalax and reggae-influenced design of Afro-rock that they known as “djambaadong.” Pursuing Tunde’s loss of life, Toure Kunde performed a memorial concert and tribute recording, Amadou Tito. Agreeing to keep performing collectively, the group reorganized with the help of younger sibling, Ousmane.
