AM

Vocalist/songwriter Anthony Miller, aka AM, was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and in the suburbs of New Orleans before he began composing songs in university. He relocated to LA, and after he performed the South by Southwest Event, Defend Music required curiosity and added him with their roster. In July 2006 the label released Stressed Occasions, a reissue of AM’s eponymous debut Compact disc from the prior year; the recording includes songs that produced their method into several movies and network and cable shows. AM offers distributed the stage with Rhett Miller, G. Like & Particular Sauce, Bob Mould, and Glenn Tilbrook. This year 2010, he released his third full-length studio room effort, Long term Sons & Daughters. In 2011, AM collaborated with multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee for the recording Celestial Electric powered. In 2013, AM & Shawn Lee came back making use of their second duo documenting, the ’80s digital music-influenced La Musique Numerique.
