Biography
An immensely talented vocalist in a position to sing brand-new jack swing music or old-time spirit ballads with identical skill, Alyson Williams spent awhile in the advantage of stardom. The little girl of trumpeter and bandleader Bobby Booker, Williams do history vocals for Curtis Hairston, Melba Moore, B.B. & Q., Ca$hflow, Unlimited Contact, Bobby Dark brown, and Barbara Mitchell just before joining High Style in 1982. Williams also sang using the Affair prior to going single in 1986 using a cover from the Pointer Sisters’ “Yes WE ARE ABLE TO Can.” She became a member of Def Jam in 1987, as well as the scorching duet “CAUSE YOU TO Mine Tonight” with Chuck Stanley set up her qualifications with urban viewers. Williams also do a duet with Oran “Juice” Jones, “How exactly to Love Once again,” which was highlighted on his LP G.T.O.: Gangsters Takin’ Over. Her Def Jam debut was Fresh in 1989. Williams do another duet, this time around with Tashan, in 1989, and both later toured Britain together. She came back in 1991 using a self-titled discharge for the OBR/Columbia label, nonetheless it was her last.
