Local Detroiter Alto Reed produced his name as the longtime saxophonist in Bob Seger’s Metallic Bullet Music group, joining the outfit in 1972 and lending his signature soloing to Seger classics like “Change the Web page,” “Horizontal Bop,” and “Primary Street.” Through the past due ’90s, Reed began a solo profession to check his use the Metallic Bullet Band, electing to explore modern crossover jazz rather than hard-driving rock and roll & move. Reed’s single debut, Cool Air flow, premiered in past due 1997, adding details of pop, rock and roll, and R&B to melodic jazz. In 1999, Reed was chosen to rating the film edition of Jeff Daniels’ Escanaba in Da Moonlight.
