Altar of The King

Formed in Apr 1991 in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, USA, as Today Listen to This, this hard rock and roll outfit first fulfilled in the auditions for lead singer Bogdan Jablonski’s previous strap, Warsaw, at Jackson St. Studios. This technique saw the music group evolve to add Bob Coons (acoustic guitar), Tony Anthony (bass; once auditioned for Metallica) and Steve Quartarola (drums). Jablonski have been performing in Bay Region rings for over a decade, and had researched under Barbra Streisand’s and Frank Sinatra’s vocal trainer, Judy Davis. He previously also sung history vocals for Testament. The music group played their 1st shows immediately after this line-up was set up, recording their materials at Dream Studios in Berkeley in 1993 for launch as a demonstration (which noticed the music group’s unique name, Now Listen to This, revived as its name). This is touted around before music group secured a agreement with Western label Rock THE COUNTRY. In 1994, the paths had been remixed for launch at Trax East Studios in NJ, while the music group supported famous brands Primus, Helix while others on the highway.
