Biography
Growing from Chicago’s Hyde Park music scene, Alsace Lorraine debuted with “Dreams I CANNOT Control” in 2000 for the Darla label. Hewson Chen of Vitesse was became a member of by Paul Francke to create synth pop that imports a lot of the spacey characteristics of his previous music group; the product can be songs that attract seriously on Vitesse’s audio, however in a obviously more pop-oriented method. Although their debut melody highlighted Ruth Welte’s amazingly melodic vocals, Alsace Lorraine’s performing duties have already been bought out by Caitlin Brice. The well-received debut monitor was followed another year with another track on the tiny Darla sampler series, “Chalk Marks on the floor.” The debut record Through Small Home windows appeared soon after in summer months 2001. The group continued tour immediately after the record was released, however the tour was cut brief when Francke dropped right into a coma. The music group continued hiatus while he retrieved, and they just were able to record several tracks occasionally during the period of the next couple of years. Alsace Lorraine regrouped in 2006 and, by using Entre Rios vocalist Isol, they documented their second full-length record that calendar year. Dark One premiered in springtime 2007.
