Alois Posch

Alois Posch is a respected European orchestral increase bass participant. He started learning violin and piano at age ten. At fifteen, he found that that contrabass was the proper device for him. He inserted the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst (Academy for Music and Allied Arts) in Graz. There he examined the device with Teacher Johannes Auersperg. After earning prizes in tournaments for younger music artists he obtained a posture in the Vienna Philharmonic in 1978, at age eighteen. Between 1983 and 2008, he was the first choice from the bass section and bass soloist from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and of the Vienna Condition Opera. Since 1993 he is a complete professor on the Hochschule für Musik und darstellenden Kunst in Vienna. He includes a placement as Guest Teacher on the Mozarteum of Salzburg, and frequently plays being a visitor soloist and chamber participant. He has performed on recordings released by Decca, Emi, Deutsche Gramophon, Sony, Philips, and EMI. He’s among the band of players who often play solo jobs in projects arranged with the Latvian violinist Gidon Kremer and therefore participate often in Kremer’s Lockenhaus Celebration. Among his produces with Kremer is certainly a chamber music edition of compositions of the brand new Tango expert Astor Piazzolla, which Posch may be the bass participant and soloist. Throughout his profession, he has frequently performed at celebrations around the world, with distinguished co-workers, numerous recordings documenting his collaborations.
