Almas Mudas

With a method echoing the youthful swagger of the first Strokes and a sound inspired with the Brit-pop from the ’90s, Almas Mudas emerged as you of Spain’s brightest young indie talents. Frontman Miguel Rived, guitarists Simon Franco and Alberto Solobera, bassist David Idiope, and drummer Pedro Presa produced in Zaragoza in 2005, and after touring their hometown’s live circuit, reached the ultimate from the city’s annual Popyrock competition. The band’s profile received a lift when their music was applied to TV shows El Golpe de Suerte and Doctor Mateo, and after putting your signature on to Warner Bros, they teamed up with Kim Fanlo (Nena Daconte) to record their debut record. Offering the singles “Big Bang” and “Estilo Bowie,” and a cooperation with Heroes del Silencio’s Juan Valdivia, Pura Velocidad premiered in 2011.
