Allyson Seconds

Vocalist and songwriter Allyson Secs is a longtime fixture for the Sacramento, California music picture who is most widely known on her behalf collaborations with fellow indie pop well known Anton Barbeau. Created Allyson Goble in Anderson, Indiana on Dec 27, 1968, Mere seconds (who’s wedded to Kevin Secs from the long-running punk music group 7 Secs) initial started performing when she was a woman, discovering she appreciated harmonizing with her siblings. Secs studied sculpture on the School of California in Davis, and shortly branched out into picture taking, capturing a lot of California’s most observed music artists on film as both a spare time activity and an occupation. After settling in Sacramento, Secs not merely snapped photos of her preferred musicians, she started collaborating with them, performing backups with famous brands Jonah Matranga of Much, Kepi Ghoulie from the Groovie Ghoulies, Sal Valentino from the Beau Brummels, as well as the group Andrew Jackson Jihad. Secs was friends and an intermittent collaborator with sensible pop cult preferred Anton Barbeau for a long time prior to the two initial teamed up to create an album. Secs’ 2009 debut record, Handbag of Kittens, was created and co-written by Barbeau, and included visitor performances from Kimberley Rew from the Soft Children, Gabe Nelson and Vince Di Fiore from Wedding cake, and members from the U.K. pop group Stornoway. Secs teamed up with Barbeau once again to record and discharge her second record, 2016’s Little Globe, which featured efforts from Colin Moulding of XTC and, in another of his last recordings, Scott Miller, the past due founder of Video game Theory as well as the Loud Family.
