Alligatoah may be the task of German rapper and manufacturer Luke Strobel. Originally influenced with the battle-rap stylings from the Aggro Berlin collective, he created two different aliases for his Alligatoah moniker: rapper and lyricist Kaliba 69 and manufacturer DJ Deagle. While still in senior high school, the ambitious Strobel released his debut record, ATTNTAAT, in 2006 accompanied by both mixtapes Sleeping Supplements, BURGANDY OR MERLOT WINE Pts. 1 and 2. In 2008, he released his second record, In the Name of God, before finally graduating college and relocating to Berlin. Absolve to go after his music profession in earnest, Strobel immersed himself in the Berlin picture releasing two even more mixtapes and signing up for the hip-hop collective Trailerpark, who released the record Crack Street Children 2 in 2012. In 2013, once again beneath the Alligatoah name, Strobel released his third record, Motors, which also included the excess acoustic bonus record Power Failure. Motors became the artist’s biggest achievement, rising to number 1 over the German charts.
