Allen Shadow

A widely published poet, Allen Darkness incorporates lo-fi folk-rock into his art to generate what is simultaneously literary music and performance poetry. THE BRAND NEW York writer, that has released two books with Quick Books of Pueblo, CO, 1st dabbled in music within the mid-’80s using the doo-wop group the Phantoms. The cooperation consisted of some shows predicated on Shadow’s street-wise chapbook Harlem River Baby. Darkness then spent almost ten years in Nashville honing his songwriting abilities.
