However the Chicago-based band Allá only released their full-length debut, Es Tiempo, in 2008, the theory for the band as well as the album have been around for a lot longer. In 1998 guitarist/keyboardist/manufacturer Jorge Ledezma and bassist Gabor Meszaros began Defender, that was primarily a home studio room project comprising the duo plus a variety of visitor music artists.
