Alison’s Halo

The so-called Beautiful Noise scene that sprouted up in Arizona in the first ’90s produced a little core of bands that played ethereal, guitar-heavy space rock. Located in the higher Phoenix area, Gorgeous Sound founders Alison’s Halo utilized their like of British groupings like My Bloody Valentine, Trip, the Verve, and Slowdive as motivation to make their own make of loud space pop. Alison’s Halo had been produced in Tempe, Az in past due 1992 by Catherine Cooper (vocals, electric guitar), Adam Cooper (electric guitar), and Lynn Anderson (bass, vocals), along with a drum machine they known as Alison.
