Biography

Mixing new tunes along with his versions of contemporary hits, Alfonzo Blackwell debuted in 1995 with Let’s Think about, for the Scotti Bros. label. The recording did well around the Modern Jazz graphs and sparked Blackwell’s second recording, a self-titled 1996 LP. He came back two years later on with Body and Spirit, followed within the springtime of 2000 by ENOUGH TIME Is Now.
