Alexandra Silocea can be an extraordinarily talented pianist with an unusually cosmopolitan history: given birth to in Romania to parents with German and Russian ancestry, she received advanced trained in Vienna and Paris and is situated in the U.K. And in addition, her repertory is usually broad, consuming music by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Enescu, Ravel, Ginastera, and specifically functions by Prokofiev, whose entire single output she performs. Besides showing up as soloist and recitalist, Silocea also frequently performs chamber works together with such ensembles as the Aleksic String Trio. With this genre her repertory contains the Dvorák and Mahler piano quartets. Given birth to in 1984, Alexandra Silocea started piano lessons at age group eight on the Constanta Music College. From 1995, she researched music on the George Enescu Music College in Bucharest.
