Alexander Zemtsov

Alexander Zemtsov is a Russian violist. He started his music research in his hometown of Ufa, with ten was signed up for Moscow’s Gnessin Music Lyceum. He also examined at the faculty for Music and Movie theater in Hamburg, and caused Michael Kugel and Tabea Zimmermann. Zemtsov gained first prizes on the 1995 International Youngsters Competition in Moscow, the 1997 Elise Meyer competition in Hamburg, as well as the 2001 Brahms Competition in Pörtschach. Zemtsov provides performed with many European orchestras, like the Belgian Radio Orchestra as well as the Wiener Musikverein, and he became primary violist using the London Philharmonic Orchestra in 2002. Zemtsov also takes on using the Hermitage String Trio as well as the Razumovsky Outfit. He shows viola in the Guildhall College of Music and Theatre in London, the Vienna Conservatory, as well as the SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL of Music in Lausanne. He offers documented for Naxos and MDG.
