Alexander Ivanovich Dubuque

This Moscovite composer and pianist was students of Field and a teacher of Balakirev and Zverev; the latter subsequently trained Rakhmaninov, Skryabin and Ziloti. Both Balakirev and Tchaikovsky dedictaed piano functions to him. His most significant contributions had been his way of piano playing and a assortment of 130 Russian folksongs.
