Alexander Bell was the pseudonym for Robin Hunt, business lead singer for the Flies, who released a single beneath the assumed name for CBS in 1967, “Alexander Bell Believes” b/w “A Hymn…With Like.” Both edges were quite definitely in the 1967 United kingdom just-this-side-of-twee harmonized pop-psychedelic design, with peace-and-love lyrical problems tempered by just a little melodic and vocal impact from bands just like the Kinks as well as the Zombies.
