Alex Klein

In his native Brazil, he developed quickly as an oboist as a kid, playing a debut solo performance using a symphony orchestra at age ten. A graduate from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, he provides performed being a going to soloist using the Philadelphia Orchestra and l’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. He earned several major tournaments and awards, like the International Competition for Music Performers in Geneva, yet others in NY, Prague, and Tokyo. He founded the Chamber Music Culture of Seattle and was its movie director until shifting to Chicago to displace the fantastic Ray Still as primary oboist from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He’s also the oboist from the Chicago Sinfonietta and an Adjunct Teacher of Music at Northwestern College or university in Evanston, Illinois (simply north of Chicago). His recordings consist of eight oboe concertos by Vivaldi (Musical Heritage Culture and MusicMasters), as well as the concertos of Franz Krommer and Johann Nepomuk Hummel using the Czech Country wide Symphony executed by Paul Freeman.
