Alessi’s Ark may be the brainchild of Alessi Laurent-Marke, a Uk songbird whose lilting, folk-tinged music helped propel her from MySpace’s inner group towards the roster of Virgin Information. Laurent-Marke began seeking a songwriting profession at age 16, having appeased her parents using a promise to come back to college if nothing occurred within one year’s period.
