Alec Compinsky

Alec Compinsky was the sibling of violinist/conductor/film composer Manuel Compinsky and pianist Sara Compinsky as well as the uncle of Noelle Compinsky Tinturin. In the traditional music field through the 1920s, he was referred to as a virtuoso cellist, functioning freelance principally in colaboration with his two siblings within the Compinsky Trio. Located in LA, he gravitated toward the film business and tv being a cellist, composer, and music supervisor (which often intended a conductor/arranger) through the past due ’40s and early ’50s.
