Albert Wynn was most widely known for his function in the 1920s, although he survived and continued using in to the mid-’60s. Wynn was raised in Chicago, where he was structured throughout the majority of his lifestyle. Early in his profession, Wynn played within the Bluebirds’ Children Music group and toured with Ma Rainey. Wynn performed and documented with Charlie Creath’s Jazz-O-Maniacs in St. Louis (1927) and spent amount of time in European countries (1928-1932), doing work for 1 . 5 years with Sam Wooding. After time for the U.S., he performed briefly with Sidney Bechet’s New Orleans Feetwarmers (1932) and proved helpful in Chicago with Carroll Dickerson, Jesse Rock, Reuben “River” Reeves, Jimmie Noone, Richard M. Jones, as well as the Earl Hines Orchestra. Wynn was section of Fletcher Henderson’s orchestra (1937-1939), used Jimmie Noone’s short-lived big music group, and in the 1940s performed numerous local groupings, including bands offering Baby Dodds and Lil Armstrong. He also possessed a record shop. An associate of Franz Jackson’s Primary Jazz All-Stars (1956-1960), Wynn acquired his last main job using Gold Coastline Jazz Music group (1960-1964). Albert Wynn documented six songs being a leader through the 1926-1928 period (among his sidemen had been Barney Bigard on tenor and cornetist Punch Miller) and in 1961 led a collection for Riverside and documented an record with Lil Armstrong; both of the last mentioned have got since been reissued on Compact disc.
