Alan Barnes was created in Cheshire in 1959. He examined at Leeds University of Music and became efficient on alto and baritone saxophones and clarinet. Pursuing graduation in 1980, Barnes led many groupings, including Pizza Express Contemporary Jazz Sextet, and documented with Dave Newton, Tony Coe, Ken Peplowski, and Warren Vache. He dominated the saxophone and clairnet portion of the United kingdom jazz awards through the entire ’90s and performs at main international jazz celebrations. Barnes in addition has spent period teaching.
