This Toronto quartet, led by songwriters Buster Fykes and Rick Knight, used a Cajun music style with components of country and Southern soul. Alabama released two singles (“Tune of Like” and “Highway Generating”) and an record (Near House) in 1973 on Smile, written by London. The music group also included Hector McLean and Len Sembaluk.
