Al Stillman

Lyricist Al Stillman was created in NEW YORK in 1906. Ella Fitzgerald was one of the primary to popularize his music, recording “I’m Not really Complaining,” “I’m Up a Tree,” and “Don’cha Move ‘Method Mad”; Billie Vacation also sang many a Stillman lyric, including “I Desire I NEEDED You,” “With Thee I Golf swing,” and “IT ISN’T for Me to state.” In 1940, he have scored a major strike with “The Air flow and I,” adding lyrics to some melody originally constructed by Ernesto Lecuona 11 years previously, while “Juke Container Saturday Evening” was popular for Glenn Miller in 1942.
